Kimberly Krause Berg’s Summary
I provide web site usability services that focus on persuasive design techniques to improve conversions, plus application (forms), newsletter and shopping cart user interface, accessibility, data analysis and functional testing.
My business partners come from the web design and search engine marketing industries. Most of my work is sub-contracted to website design and marketing firms. From 1996 to 2002 I specialized in organic search engine optimization, before moving on to usability testing and user centered design support. Therefore, my reports don't conflict with search engine marketing projects or their recommendations.
As an industry reporter and columnist for a wide selection of blogs, ezines and SEO news sites, I cover both search engine optimization and marketing and the usability industries. In addition to articles, I also write for my blog, as well as several others.
I write a column on Usability for the print publication, Search Marketing Standard and am a search marketing industry conference reporter for the Search Engine Roundtable. My articles are published by many web sites including Webpronews, SearchEngineGuide and CorporateWebsite.
