Elwood Staffing was not always a staffing company and maybe that's what makes us such a good one. Founded by David L. Elwood, Ph.D. in 1980, the company originally provided employee opinion surveys and pre-employment testing, so the very core of our business has always been to understand "what makes people tick" and to find the best person for the job. It was easy for customers to see that our expertise in understanding and selecting employees could also help them meet their general staffing needs. And that's exactly what happened. We entered the staffing industry because a client asked us to help his company meet its general staffing needs. While other staffing companies may try and place every applicant who walks through the door, we're not here to play a "numbers game." We're here to provide you, our clients, with a better employee resulting in a better experience for both the employee and the employer.
