Since 1989, Kathleen Hosfeld has helped companies thrive by designing strategies and marketing programs that build bridges of trust, loyalty and mutuality between clients and their customers. Specializing in services and intangibles marketing -- financial services, education and training, health care and the arts -- her client experience includes projects and programs for Fortune 500 and middle market companies, social venture and non-profit organizations. Her assessments and strategy processes help clients move quickly to capitalize on insights and opportunities.
She has chaired a national conference on communication and marketing ethics. She contributed to the Center for Ethical Leadership’s study, “The Leadership of Sustainability.” With Jenny Mish she wrote "Marketing Before and After Sustainability," a summary of best practices beyond "green marketing." She is author of Listening | A Strategy and Marketing blog where she writes about the emerging model of marketing practiced by high-performing sustainable organizations.
Hosfeld has spoken to MBA and undergraduate students on ethics, marketing and entrepreneurship at Seattle University, Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Washington. She has presented interactive workshops on strategy and marketing independently and in partnership with chambers of commerce.
