Founder, first President of COBB FAITH PARTNERSHIP(www.cobbfaithpartnership.org), a “Central Clearinghouse” of churches and faith-based ministries. Grew from 4 members in late 2000 to over 250 today.
Founder, COBB CAREER SITE (www.cobbcareersite.com), 600+ members. Provides info on local/national career-related resources. The only site of its kind in Cobb County; recognized twice by Tripod Member Services as a Super Member Site.

I am the billing support for a 5-person mental health counseling facility. I am responsible for filing claims (HCFAs), following up on outstanding claims, contacting insurance organizations, entering patient and payment data in Therapist Helper (version 7.5) and making sure things run smoothly on the administrative side for this growing practice in the Smyrna/Vinings area.

The Knowledge Shop of Atlanta (since 2005) is a Marietta-based educational organization offering short term, inexpensive, high-quality informative and simulating classes in all areas such as basic computer, applications software- as well as life enrichment courses for all ages and tastes. The Knowledge Shop is also home to a ToasMasters group meeting every Thursday evening at 7pm. A new Job Networking Support Group was launched in 2008, meeting the first and third Wednesdays at noon.

I served as backup Treasurer (volunteer bookkeeper) for Cobb Faith Partnership starting early 2004 until one was elected in January 2006.
I served starting Summer 2005 as Treasurer (volunteer bookkeeper) for Cobb Disaster Recovery using QuickBooks 2004. I set up their accounts and kept current their financial transactions, ran reports, and reconciled their monthly bank statements. This assignment lasted until May 2007 when I resigned from the Executive Board.
I currently work on an as-needed basis for a local service organization keeping their books current as well as running monthly and periodic reports, as well as keeping the owner current on Accounts Receivable. Some of the companies I've done work for include: Arcadian Resources, Rosebud Advocacy, and Cities Mortgage.

TechCorps Georgia provides refurbished computers to schools as well as to students from disadvantaged families. I taught Basic Computer Concepts and intro to MS Office to students through TechCorps' Computers for Youth program on an as-needed basis. I would still be teaching for them, except that TechCorps Georgia went through a major reorganization and is now using volunteer instructors for their current program.
