Membership Development Associate at Massachusetts Council of Human Service Providers
Greater Boston Area
I am a young nonprofit professional working for a membership association of human service agencies. In this role I enjoy
• growing our membership
• developing new benefits and programs that support the human service sector
• exploring social media to share resources and raise awareness for the work that we and our members do to strengthen Massachusetts communities
(among many other things)
When I'm not at work, I am focused on my roles as Chair of the Greater Boston Young Democrats, Board Director for the Young Democrats of Massachusetts, and member of National Council of Nonprofits Products & Services Committee.
I also enjoy following politics, listening to music (or seeing it live when I can), exploring Boston and her nightlife, learning about new technology, and meeting new and interesting people.
I'm always happy to be a resource to anyone interested in the nonprofit sector, affinity programs, nonprofit marketing or social media, progressive politics, and anything else that my input would be helpful for.

I am currently focused on informing nonprofit human service providers across the state of the important public policy and other services that the Providers' Council provides as the Commonwealth's largest human service association, to build our membership and collective power.
I also spend a considerable amount of my time working with our Membership and Member Benefits Committees to create positive, meaningful membership experiences for our current members. This includes managing our affinity partnership programs, developing new benefits, and coordinating outreach and awareness efforts.
I am also responsible for recruiting the 60+ vendors that exhibit at our annual convention & expo (New England's largest human service convention), and managing the expo floor the day of the event. Additionally, I have been fortunate to be empowered to learn how our association and other nonprofits can utilize social media effectively to advance their missions.
