Interactive Consultant; Website Developer
San Francisco Bay Area
Since 2007, I've been working with a global team of designers and developers on a large scale community-based rich media website, Dipdive.com. As Product Manager, I share responsibility with my EU team counterpart to oversee design and usability, determine and prioritize requirements and schedule feature development and launch.
Previously: In 1994 I co-founded an interactive multimedia company, Lightspeed Interactive, Inc. The company grew successfully for 6 years with a small, but effective production team. From the business end, I managed day-to-day operations including facility, personnel and financial management. From the production end, I lead development on a majority of projects.
In 2000, with an infusion of venture funding for growth, we redirected the company focus from multimedia services to software development and custom installations. I managed the production and delivery teams on a variety of large-scale projects and custom installations until 2002, when the company merged with TopicalNet, Inc. to form a new entity, LightSpeed Software Inc. (In 2003, the company changed its name again to Astoria Software.)
Short list of past clients: Cisco, Oracle, Intel, Microsoft, Novell, Hughes Aircraft, Applied Biosystems, Novellus, Seagate Technology, Agile Software, and Harvard Business School Publishing.
With a desire to return to interactive media development, I began consulting for new clients with a team of designers and developers.
Short list of clients as an independent consultant: Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Phoenix Technologies, Arena Solutions, Sabrix, Sana Security, Trend Micro, Plantronics, Alpine and VMware.
