In the Developer Division, our mission is to make every software project successful with Microsoft Tools and Platforms by providing the broadest pipeline to the development community to connect with Microsoft platforms.
On the one hand, we have various segments of the development community ranging from professional developers, software development teams, creative professionals (designers), students, hobbyists and non-professional developers.
On the other hand, we have a confluence of platforms spanning the client, Web, server, devices and Services.
Our goal is to provide developer platform technologies and tools that bridges these two dimensions by having a consistent programming model in .NET, e.g. .NET Framework, WPF, Silverlight and .NETCF, that spans the various platforms, and tools and technologies in Visual Studio and Expression Studio. I have been responsible for managing the staffing activities, recruiting strategy and interview pocess development and implementation for a consulting services, product support and internal IT team. Currently manage the staffing team supporting a developer tools product group and a hosted services product team. I currently manage the performance and career development of 2 Staffing Leads and 15 Microsoft employees and the activity of 8 contractors who support the staffing activities for these two technical teams consisting of 4000 people.
