At that time, Messiah had a cooperative agreement with Temple University that students from both schools could take classes from the other school. This arangement helped start and/or sustain several major courses of study, Civil Engineering being one.
The typical scenario was for the basic general education to be completed thru the second year, while the remaining 2 years were spent at the Temple campus taking engineering specific classes.
