Kevin O'Meara’s Summary

I graduated Cornell University in 1984 with a degree in Government/International relations. I spent the next 9.5 years in the Army with tours at Ft. Carson, Germany and Washington D.C. After proudly serving my Country, I left the Army to join civilian life and went to work for Schneider National / Schneider Logistics, the nation's largest transportation and logistics company. At Schneider, I served in multiple leadership and logistics planning roles.

Serving as the General Manager of Schneider's Ford business, my team managed all the transportation, logistics operations, logistics sourcing, claims management, and freight payment for Ford Service parts. From this role, I formed a team which developed and installed the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program at Schneider. I have also worked in Business Transformation using my skills as a six sigma green belt and the learnings received from attending many Michael Hammer courses.

In 2005, I began working for Whirlpool Corporation in the North American Supply Chain group and am currently the Director of the Product Fulfillment team for the Fabric Care business. I work with planning, S&OP, inventory management and production planning. This is a cross functional team involving merchandising, manufacturing, supply chain, production management and inventory management. We are directly responsible for availability, fill rates and inventory levels (working capital efficiency).

I received my MBA from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2002 with honors and am a member of the National Honor Society for business school graduates (Beta Gamma Sigma).
