Companies that are smaller, dynamic, have A+ people and original technology are fascinating.
I'm motivated by opportunities to not only think about strategic direction, but also (arguably equally or more importantly) convert strategy to tactical action and results. Measurable ROI matters, and "hand-waving" annoys me.
I have a history of successfully taking on select marketing consulting projects and advisory roles for first-tier venture-backed companies, and am interested in such roles.
Away from work, I can be found lecturing at Stanford and elsewhere, blogging about marketing & product management, and shamelessly promoting the ideas (if not the writing) in my book (See below, or Amazon, "Marketing Made Easy", by Entrepreneur Magazine Press / McGraw Hill).
