Background Painter at Cartoon Network
Greater Los Angeles Area
I began my career as a character artist in the video game industry in Seattle, but eventually decided to move to Los Angeles and become a full-time illustrator. For the last 3 years I've worked freelance for a range of clients like Pixar, Cartoon Network, Passion Pictures, Disney TV, Laika, and Gama-Go. I also created and run the independent publishing house Fleet Street Scandal with my friend and business partner Chris Turnham. Together we sell original art prints, apparel, and books. Summer 2009 saw the release of a new book starring my character, International Girl of Mystery Yuki 7. "Seductive Espionage: The World of Yuki 7" made its debut at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, CA, and the accompanying movie trailer was played across the world on blogs like NOTCOT, Boing-Boing, and Kanye Universe City.
I'm currently working as a background painter at Cartoon Network on the show "Sym-Bionic Titan". The show is directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, creator of Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, and the animated Clone Wars series.
