Kevin was a Technology Specialist (aka. pre-sales engineer, systems engineer, technical specialist, solution architect, category specialist) for the Linux/Open Platform Solutions team in the East region for Novell, Inc. and based out of Northern Virginia/Metropolitan Washington DC. He is responsible for helping customers identify ways to meet or exceed their business objectives with Novell technologies, particularly surrounding SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Desktop solutions. He was also involved in NetWare/Open Enterprise Server, GroupWise, ZENworks and Identity Management solutions. As part of the pre-sales account team he works with customers, partners, and ISVs/IHVs to help Novell grow and improve customer satisfaction. During his nearly 9 years at Novell, Kevin has served as both a Systems Engineer (SE) and Business Partner Technical Manager for what was formerly known as the Mid-Atlantic district.

Prior to joining Novell, Kevin worked as a systems engineer and consultant for a large federal integrator – BDM International (eventually acquired by TRW and then Northrop Grumman Mission Systems). He was involved in a variety of system design and network implementations (often including Novell products) for a large number of clients – including federal, commercial and non-profit organizations.
