Kestrin Pantera’s Summary

At KP2 Productions, Kestrin works to unite the entertainment and technology communities to entertain, inspire, and advocate social change.

Her high school/college job was managing a non-profit where she ran 13 school-sites and raised over $2 million in funding to create a “National After-School Exemplary Program”, which now has a 7.5 million dollar budget.

After college, Kestrin lived in Taipei, Taiwan, performing voice-overs for 100+ companies in Southeast Asia. She helped write and translate advertising copy, managed commercial client relationships, and conducted negotiations in Mandarin Chinese, which she speaks fluently.

In L.A., Kestrin founded KP2 Productions. Successes include SXSW's famed RVIP Lounge, fundraisers for the Breast Cancer Fund and Barack Obama (with artist Shepard Fairey), and online content creation.

KP2 regularly collaborates with Rubyred Labs, Inc. which has spun off several web products of international success, including GetSatisfaction.com, Valleyschwag.com, products for Sprint, Yahoo, and a tiny piece of the IPhone.

A force of nature of in the Los Angeles music scene, Kestrin has played cello and sung with ground-breaking artists Beck, Weezer, Cary Brothers (Grammy Award winning “Garden State” soundtrack), Rob Dickinson (The Catherine Wheel), Adam Freeland, and Brandi Carlile, among others. She has licensed music to Adrian Grenier's show "Alter Eco", the Lifetime sitcom "Rita Rocks", and sings the theme song for ABC's new show, "Roommates". Kestrin was featured on the cover of the L.A. Times, en route to Coachella, 2008.

She works on the Nickelodeon cartoon, "Ni Hao Kai Lan", and can be seen on TV guest starring on "Rita Rocks", in a hilarious X-Box commercial with Burt Reynolds, as well as commercials for Comcast and Home Depot. She also appears in several episodes of "Alter Eco", stars in the award winning film "Stars and Suns", and acts with Academy Award Winner Samantha Morton in "Expired" (Sundance, Cannes).
