Always connected, Firefox customizing, iPhone carrying, consistently trying the latest web service while constantly sketching out the next one, and sporadic blogger, I spend nearly all of my professional and personal time on the Web.
The last five years, I've exercised my entrepreneurial tendencies by working with web startups. Interestingly enough, I've done so as an independent self-employed consultant, as a member of a full-service web agency (which focused on web startups), and most recently at a startup itself.
Working with web startups matches my desire to solve problems as an entrepreneur with my knowledge and expertise as a "web guy." My specific web expertise comes both from more than a decade of hands-on web experience, as well as academia, where I studied everything from web protocols to eCommerce Management (analyzed the dotcom era extensively).
My current interests are focused on search, consumer web products, productivity apps, mobile (esp. iPhone), browser development, and social gaming.
