I am the Director of an interactive agency that helps companies achieve their objectives through first seeking to understand, creating a strategic plan, and building out online solutions. I also work on a variety of film and television projects with my entertainment consulting company I started in the late 90's. Both are very complimentary positions to each other, especially now TV & Web are emerging platforms.

With a decade's experience in strategic marketing and communications combined with a hand on background in operations and management I am working within my skill sets and passions at Rare Method. I am really happy to be leading our business development team and contributing to the strategy team at our agency. I also help with our Public relations and special events initiatives.

It is key to understand a customer and create an experience that delivers a strong ROI - meeting their objectives. We do this through collaboration with our clients, benchmarking, competitive analysis and strategic planning. I love this part of the job, I get to work with clients in multiple industries and learn the interworking of their organizations. It is my primary role to engage new clients on both national and international levels and lead this collaboration to formulate a plan. I have been lucky enough to have worked with a wide range of clients in the Entertainment, Finance, Tourism & Hospitality, Aviation, Insurance, Luxury, Yachting, Energy/Oil & Gas and Non profit sectors.

Furthermore, I have had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest companies in the entertainment industry, which is an area I am extremely passionate about. I am also currently working on producing a full length feature 3d film as well as 2 television series.

    I started working as an AP on a comedy series for Canadian series called "How Bout Not'. From there I had the chance to work on and off as a consultant for a couple of Independent films such as "Halo" and "Boxing with God". I had the opportunity to be both behind and in front of the camera. I ended up co-hosting an entertainment segment for “Eye on Entertainment” as well as some other local television spots.

    In 2002 I began a partnership and produced a self help video series which I distributed across Canada and the USA. I oversaw and managed the online marketing initiatives also.

    I have arranged casting calls, negotiated location contracts, oversaw graphic design, brand management, web and interactive integrated initiatives, newsletters, promotional items, and branded CDs / DVDs for a variety of projects.

    My network of contacts in the indusrtry in production, distribution and marketing of projects allows me to add value and help people in a wide range of ways. Recent projects include "The Service" which is in production currently, and a 3d Feature "Dead Still".

    Project Smile is a not for profit organization that is fully managed and supported by Suitcase Interactive Staff, Clients, friends and partners. Each November, the entire Suitcase staff travels to Mexico to help build feeding centers and bring supplies to the less fortunate children in Mexico.

    I managed 2 Cowboys Locations, Ceilis Irish Pub, Tantra, Coyotes and the Drink while I was with the organization. I helped to develop and implement training programs at most of the locations I managed as well as directly hired, managed and scheduled staff forces ranging from 50 – 500 plus employees including the service staff durring the Calgary Stampede.
