Ken spearheaded and led the conception, incubation, name & branding, initial R&D and initial rounds of fund raising for YouMail.com, starting with seed financing of $96,500 in government grants & $500K commitment from parent company Zeacom. Ken was later integral to raising a $1.9MM convertible note of angel financing which subsequently converted up into a $4.75MM Series A of tier-1 venture capital investment. While at YouMail, Ken was responsible for marketing - driving user conversion through radio, television and online PR/advertising, including significant online customer acquisition from the GenY segment; press coverage included Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes.com, CNBC Power Lunch, MSNBC and 50+ radio interviews.

In his role as vice president of marketing, Ken initiated and led the Zeacom management team through a Blue Ocean Strategy process that resulted in the productization (and later a full corporate spin out) of what is now YouMail.com. Ken left Zeacom as Co-Founder and VP of Marketing of the Zeacom spin out, YouMail, Inc.
