I'm a web designer and developer, running my own business (Event Ireland, in partnership) since June 2005. I started this business upon graduating from college with a First Class Honours Degree in Information Technology. I have a huge passion for web and graphic design, creating usable and friendly web sites for clients while also assisting those I do business with in exploring the social side of the web through blogging, podcasting, social networking and online advertising.

My interest in music lead me to launch KilkennyMusic.com in September 2005. At KKM we provide live and studio advice for bands and performers, organise and run press campaigns and actively promote music from grass-roots level and up. KilkennyMusic.com has been funded at local government level since 2006. I organise over 30 musical showcase events a year.

In 2006 I successfully launched (with 3 others) The Devious Theatre Company, a theatre production company based in Kilkenny whose aim is to create, nurture, develop and produce a professional and dynamic programme of theatre and performing arts. We look for ways to innovate through theatre and the creative arts, writing and producing our own material aimed at our peers, while also focusing on the use of social media to promote ourselves and our work.

I host produce two weekly podcast shows, one for SoundSystemPodcast.com and the other for PlaylistMix.com and have been podcasting regularly since October 2006.

I enjoy getting involved in community events and organisations, having organised a number of unconference events (PodCamp, CreativeCamp) in 2007 / 2008 as well as working with a number of non-profit groups in Kilkenny.

I currently hold a seat on the board of directors of Young Irish Film Makers (YIFM.com).
