Kenneth Jackson has been at the forefront of a fast-changing telephone technology marketplace since he began his career with AT&T’s Bell Laboratories in 1987. Since 1995, Mr. Jackson has worked in the mobile telephony sector, conducting early research and development work in the all-IP network evolution, and focusing on IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and fixed-mobile network technologies. At Camiant, he is instrumental in forging wireless network solutions that render new possibilities in converged wireless networks.
Kenneth Jackson, director of wireless solutions for Camiant, is responsible for fostering converged-network wireless platforms that support the migration of broadband providers to wireless communications services.
Mr. Jackson has close to 20 years of experience in advanced telephone and wireless networking systems, with more than half of his career dedicated to research and technology development roles in wireless communications. Before joining Camiant, he managed and performed systems engineering and sales engineering roles focused on the Push-to-Talk over Cellular standard, IMS and seamless mobility softswitch-based solutions with Winphoria Networks/Motorola. There, he also directed global IMS and fixed-mobile integration solutions on behalf of Motorola’s regional business and account teams.
Mr. Jackson began his career in 1987 with AT&T Bell Laboratories, working with class 5 switching systems, ISDN introduction and early Asynchronous Transfer Mode switches. Since 1995, he has held various research and development positions with Motorola, AT&T Wireless and Sprint PCS, including early work in the CDMA 3rd Generation Partnership Program all-IP network evolution. He has extensive experience working with session-initiation protocol-based Voice over IP.
Mr. Jackson earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from DePaul University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.

I presented on Seamless Mobility at the IMS forum in Singapore and other speaking engagements. I gave executive level presentations globally at the CTO and VP level of Tier 1 cellular operators.
