My work focuses on building the competence to design and convene conversations that include all relevant voices, address complex issues and make wiser decisions that enjoy widespread support.
My client collaborations draw from a wide variety of traditions - both ancient and modern - and blend together elements of Appreciative Inquiry, Future Search, Integral Coaching, Open Space Technology, Positive Psychology, Theory U and World Café. Poetry, mythology, storytelling, art, movement, somatic awareness and indigenous wisdom are also regular features in my client partnerships.

The World Cafe is a dialogue process that can be used in groups ranging in size from a dozen to many hundreds. Properly applied, it can make accessible the knowledge and wisdom of the entire group.
During my decade with the World Café, it grew from something known to less than 100 people into a practice used by 100s of 1000s of people worldwide, and it continues to evolve as a thriving community of practitioners.

After receiving my certification in 2000, I was invited by the owners of the company to create a Graduate Department for people who completed the year long Professional Coaching Course. I worked to form a community of practice among the graduates, with a focus on sharing coaching experiences, building peer relationships, and creating a network of support and expertise.
