I extend awareness and build preference for the Intel brand through social media and broadcast strategies. I generate valuable storytelling content and directly engage with relevant online influencers and consumers.
Since 2005, my focus has moved from broadcast to digital media relations. My broadcast experience, writing and video expertise has helped me lead our Global Communications Group to become new media savvy, bringing new features to our online pressroom such as shareable video, RSS news bulletins, Twitter feeds and Intel blogs. My trusted ability to "try new things" put me in a position to create Intel's first ever social media guidelines and training course in 2007 that later evolved into a global Digital IQ curriculum.
I help integrate and innovate with leaders from across the company to create social media strategies and create content that extends the worldwide Intel Developer Forum (IDF), Research@Intel Day, Consumer Electronics Show and other industry and Intel-sponsored events.
I created and manage Channelintel on YouTube (2007), @IDF Twitter and Facebook Group (2007), Intel Facebook Fan Page (2008) and @Intel Twitter (2009).
I am an internal social media adviser helping teams/colleagues around the world, and I share my insights through blogging and participating on industry panels/Webinars.
