SUMMARY

I blend broadcast media experience with new/social media skills to build awareness and preference for the Intel brand. My strategies and execution help Intel better participate directly with top broadcast outlets, tech bloggers and online influencers. My ideas, efforts and teamwork is helping the Global Communications Group and Intel earn respect and recognition as an innovative, online media savvy company.

I'm identifying then implementing new social computing tools; shooting, producing, distributing and/or directing video for online and broadcasters; writing for three different Intel blogs and on my personal blog; and building frameworks to scale social media best practices across teams and the company.

I helped create, launch, manage and grow master Intel brand accounts on YouTube, Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and other social media services.

More than 18 years of public relations work, including eight years at an NBC-TV affiliate in a top five U.S. TV market. In 2000, I became broadcast media relations manager at Intel to work directly with national and international TV/Radio professionals, news producers and reporters. Later I helped our Global Communications team to begin building relationships with online media producers and bloggers.

Throughout my career at Intel, I have worked with top level executives, including Intel legends Andy Grove and Gordon Moore. I prepare our executives and experts for live TV appearances, taped video shoots and other media interviews, showing them how to share their knowledge and passion in front of the camera or behind the mic. I also book and technical direct Intel's quarter earnings announcements.

Most recently, I have been helping the Global Communications Group improve Intel's outreach to and participation with consumer audiences. I helped form and lead the Intel Insider program of ten influential social media advisers (http://scoop.intel.com/insiders).
