My professional background is in the field of online travel and technology automation. I have followed an entrepreneurial path and have been involved with several successful startups including: Sabre WebReservations, GetThere, Tickets.com, Tripeze (Sears Travel), LeisureLink and now AdventureLink.
I specialize in the development of travel technology related companies. My latest venture, AdventureLink provides a centralized reservation transaction platform for the adventure travel industry.

As President & Founder of LeisureLink, I was responsible for the formation of the company, establishing strategic distribution partnerships and overseeing the technology implementation. LeisureLink pioneered direct connect interfaces to the GDSs (Sabre, Worldspan & Galileo) which now gives the vacation rental industry the same global reach that was previously the exclusive domain of large hotel chains.

Co-Founded the company with the goal of creating an online travel service specifically for the Canadian market. The company grew rapidly and was later acquired by Sears Canada. I was the acting CTO for the company in the initial formation of the venture.

I joined GetThere (Internet Travel Network) relatively early and was responsible for expanding the leisure product strategy. As a small company, opportunity came knocking and the company decided to re-focus from expanding the leisure product to focusing on developing an airline booking system. I then assisted in developing the United Airlines booking system including a yield management system called EFares.

Jetset had developed a very interesting dynamic package booking engine and partnered with Expedia at the time to deploy the capabilty for consumers to design their own custom vacation packages. I worked as a consultant to guide the company through the intial product development stages.
