Experienced Supervisor
Jamestown, New York Area
I have over 10 years of management experience in a business setting and over 6 years of experience in a humane/veterinary setting. I am looking to bring these areas together into a new career at the organizational level with a non-profit humane society, animal shelter, or other animal welfare organization, in animal assisted therapy, or as a veterinary practice manager. Another area of interest is at the organizational level of a non-animal related non-profit.
I have over 20 years of experience volunteering with a number of different groups, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Literacy Volunteers of America; most of my volunteer work has been in animal welfare, including fund raising, marketing, planning and working events, Web site editor, recruiting and supervising volunteers, humane education, animal assisted therapy, transport, fostering dogs, organizing many tasks and processes, positive training; knowledgeable on animal welfare issues
