I am an award-winning writer and editor who has been in the newspaper industry for the past 22 years. I have held many positions of responsibility in which I completed projects independently and within established deadlines. I have been a reporter, columnist, copy editor, assistant news editor, opinion page editor, assistant city editor and staff writer for a newspaper Web site. I am proficient in Harris JazzBox, QuarkXpress, and Saxotech Integrated Mediaware, and have used Photoshop to process photos to be included with posts on the newspaper's Web site.
