    Full-time CG position working on various productions, and pipeline development as necessary.

    Recent clients include Finish, Travelers Insurance, and Sharp Aquos.

  • TD Intern

    Worked on a commercial airing during Beijing 2008 Olympics. Did the sand interaction in Houdini for a CG animal on a live-action beach, lit and rendered it in Maya, and did the pre-Flame composite in Shake. Remodeled the hero character's legs, added the new legs into the existing rig, and worked on the displacement map for them. Created blend shapes for the character's head in the close-up shot, and piped them into the rig.

    Also worked on the previs rig, adding visibility/deformation controls to choose between different articles of clothing for the character, and custom-rigged some of the accessories. Created a Maya GUI to allow the user to easily add new articles of clothing to the rig with a single button click.

  • Intern - Maya pipeline development

    Mini-internship. Aided in establishing render-sharing pipeline between NY and London branches. Helped to write a remote render synchronization MEL script that optimizes the scene for syncing/rendering overseas.

    - Currently sole web developer for Wise-MD, which delivers online educational videos, surgical animations, and assessments to over 20 medical schools (and counting). Application also tracks and reports evolving usage data for educational researchers.

    - Rigged/animated/rendered/composited a monkey animation for a client, which was aired on NBC news and featured on MSN.com homepage, as well as other online video sites.

    - Previously scripted/rigged/animated a complex medical animation for NYU’s medical school. Animation will be used as a surgical training video. (Not through BioDigital Systems, but under John Qualter's supervision, in Spring 2007.)
