I have been working for Hewlett-Packard and spin-off Agilent Technologies for 21 years. For the past 15 years I have developing both internal use and commercial software including 8 years on the Agilent VEE graphical programming environment product. I was the technical lead on the Agilent T&M Toolkit for Visual Studio product.
I am passionate about learning the latest programming best practices and Microsoft software development technologies. I really enjoy sharing this knowledge with the software community via my public and corporate blogs and public .NET user group presentations. I also founded and contribute to the open source PowerShell Community Extensions project on CodePlex.
Strengths include .NET, C#, C, C++, XML technologies, LINQ, MSBuild, Team Foundation, multi-threaded programming, technical presentations. Early practioner of Extreme programming currently using aspects of the Agile approach.

PowerShell Community Extensions (PSCX) is a set of general purpose Windows PowerShell cmdlets aimed at software developers and administrators. Our goal is to fill in some of the gaps in the PowerShell built-in set of cmdlets.

Compiler project: I worked on a team of three to develop an Algol 60 compiler that generated compilable C code on the backend. Real-time OS project: Worked on another team to extend the pSOS source to add support for message queueing and semaphores.
Bachelors , Electrical Engineering , 1983 — 1986
Senior project: I worked on team of four that developed a Logic Analyzer for the Motorola 6800 microprocessor. I designed the hardware and assisted with the firmware. For our demo, we attached the probe to the logic analyzer's microprocessor to do a little self-analysis.

Attended Georgia Tech my freshman year of college before transferring to Vandy.
