I am currently a freelance consultant and e-business manager with Keirotech, with which I am sole proprietor.
Keirotech runs eBay and E-business management from inventory services, staff training to the day to day running of your website, eBay business or your catalogue based e-commerce site.
I am also responsible for the UK operations for Createyourtemplate who offer outstanding and original eBay shop design.
At createyourtemplate we don't just design an eBay shop using our flash technology, we help to add in the relevant functionality for your product type. We look at the marketing aspects of your design, to help you maximise customer conversions. We provide business strategic advice, support and training on our designs as we want them to provide a functional base for your product, increasing conversions creating an individual shop. I am responsible for the implementation and training of small and medium businesses on a web based online auction management system provided by ChannelAdvisor. I follow a 30 day implementation period method consisting of on site training with follow up phone and email support. After this time frame the clients go live on a variety of online marketplaces including eBay, Amazon and various shopping comparison feeds. In this job role I also deal with managed service corporate clients where I run their online business which includes reporting, inventory management and customer service. I also provide data for accounting purposes. Every client has a different specification around a main framework which is agreed at the sales stage, so I have experience of a wide variety of clients and online business set ups. I also use online CRM software which co-ordinates support and sales aspects of the clients’ individual needs. I am also a certified eBay consultant.

Working as a Technical Scientist for Genzyme Haverhill, on the Sevelamer Carbonate Team. The team was running large scale synthesis through the manufacturing pilot plant, and carrying out in-process analysis that involved using set validated tests to evaluate the suitability of the product for use in clinical trials. My main duties were process development, process analysis and running small independent studies to optimise the process. I have worked to GMP and had experience of TGA-MS, particle sizing, moisture analysis, polymer synthesis on a small and larger scale as well as plant operation.

I studied Analytical, Physical, Inorganic, Organic and Biological Chemistry. This covered many aspects of instruments such as HPLC, GC-MS, NMR, IR UV-Visible. I gained limited practical and theoretical knowledge of these techniques. I also studied chemometrics which covered statistics and data analysis. I also covered DNA extraction and organic synthesis.
During my final year I studies Natural Products, Pharma Organic Chemistry, Pharma Analysis and furthered my knowledge of Organic, Physical and Analytical chemistry. During my final year project I synthesised analogues of a successful cytotoxic compound in P388 Leukaemia cell lines in mice. The reaction had a delicate tautomeric equilibrium, with the most favourable product inactive. The yield had to be optimised to under go further research. I was awarded the DMEL award for best final year project, which was titled 'Investigation into the synthesis of 2-Aryl-9-methoxy-4-oxo-2,3-dihydrobenzopyrano-[2,3-d]-pyrimidines'

I am part of two Jiu-Jitsu associations, for which I have been the social secretary. I was awarded the DeMontfort University Students Union Colours for dedication to this art for the year 1999/2000.
