I teach narrative theology to undergraduates, am engaged in formal and informal ecumenical projects at national and international levels, and am researching the influence of economic presuppositions on evangelical ecclesiology with particular attention to the strong preference against structural expressions of ecumenism and how competitive market forces act as gospel-displacing influences. I also edit a juried electronic journal to highlight the work of younger ecumenists entitled New Horizons in Faith and Order
