Kevin Bushey is a management consultant and owner of Knowledge Concepts & Solutions, LLC, in Virginia. He currently supports the National Guard Programs in NGB J3 Domestic Operations. In October 2008, he will join L-3 Communications as a Catastrophic Planning Program Manager. Mr. Bushey has an extensive background in military emergency management and corporate management settings. He retired from the Air Force Reserve with over 29 years of service in October 2006.
He has held positions in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Air Force Secretariat, and at four Air Force wings across the country. He has over ten years experience working with the National Guard Bureau and States Adjutant Generals and staffs. Mr. Bushey has also managed health care practices in both the private and non-profit sectors. He has held the certification as a Certified Emergency Manager- IAEM from 1995-2005. He also had been a business owner in the real estate, property management and retail industries.
