CEO at EQUALIZER
Kansas City, Missouri Area
It has been quite a ride. From student to wife to mother to grandmother, my professional journey began as an author of award-winning law review articles at the University of Oklahoma School of Law. My associate lawyer position in Nebraska was followed by a decade-plus career as in-house legal counsel in the reinsurance industry in Overland Park, Kansas. The next hat was as a Financial Advisor, when I started a self-defense business with my husband on the side.
Now I am fully an entrepreneur as owner of Equalizer, in the business of PREVENTING VICTIMS and protecting loved ones.
I give good guys and gals a fighting chance against bad guys. Three levels of training include (1) Refuse To Be A Victim® [emphasis on awareness & avoidance of confrontations], (2) Fight Like A Girl [emphasis on physical moves for women to defend ourselves], and (3) Concealed Handgun License Training [emphasis on the safe handling and defensive use of handguns for personal and family protection].
Public classes are held at Bass Pro Shops in both Olathe, KS and Independence, MO. Private customized classes are held at a time and place convenient for employers, universities, nonprofit organizations and ad hoc groups.
I have empowered over 1000 students. Improve your odds against crime by creating your personal safety plan BEFORE you need it.
You have the WILL to resist. Now get the SKILLS to resist.
