(Public Company; Online Media industry)
July 2000 — Present (8 years 4 months)
Online guru-in-the-making, making sure one of the hippest places on Earth (Somerville MA) has instant video, stories and photos when they want it, 24-7. I manage user-generated content for said hip city, while publishing the weekly print edition of the Somerville Journal.
I blog with Wicked Local.com, Somerville Journal staff blog, Dirty Water (Go Sox!), Cantabrigia and Cambridge Politics (Cambridge Chronicle).
I'm also the big sister for the Cambridge Chronicle, supporting the staff of the oldest continuously published weekly print paper in the U.S.
I help take young, talented reporters and help them become adults who tell stories in all the formats we can get our hands on – video, MP3s, printed newspapers, online updates, web exclusives, photo slideshows and by blogging.
