I fell in love with creativity and ideas when I was 11, and haven't looked back since.
Since my undergraduate college degree in Ancient Greek and Latin is completely impractical, I spend hours and hours looking out for the coolest new ideas - just to prove I understand the modern world too.
I've worked with one of the world's top creativity gurus, exercised polo ponies in Malta, studied at the TRIZ Institute in St Petersburg, and earned a Masters degree in innovation from the Institute for the Design and Development of Thinking.
My creativity blog, getFreshMinds.com, was recently named a top innovation blog by Guy Kawasaki. I write it because I love highlighting cool ideas, and helping others learn how to be more creative. Also, it's a lot of fun.
I'm also a contributing author to the Personal Branding Blog. My articles generally run on Sundays.
Professionally, I specialize in creating online marketing content for companies who want to improve their presence online. I write articles, ebooks, newsletters, blog posts, white papers and website content.
My chapter in The Age of Conversation 2 (a book created to earn money for the Variety, the children's charity) is called, "It's not enough to just talk about ideas."

At Luther College, I had the fantastic opportunity to study Ancient Greek and Latin. Although not the most usual major, it fulfilled my dream of learning to read the Iliad, while challenging me to study harder than I ever imagined. In the 3.5 years it took for me to earn my degree, I also took as many classes in creativity and innovation, business management, entrepreneurship, interpersonal and small group communications, and improvisational theater as possible.
