Kathy is a nationally-recognized women's work-life expert, career coach, author and speaker specializing in helping women achieve breakthrough to create their life and work as they truly want it.
Founder/President of Ellia Communications - a coaching and consulting organization for women offering transformative coaching, seminars and resources -- Kathy specializes in helping women break through the 12 common work-life crises they face today, to reclaim the direction of their lives for abundant success.
In her book "Breakdown, Breakthrough," Kathy reveals the key findings of her yearlong national research study— identifying the 12 common crises of professional women, including chronic health problems, failure to find work-life balance, and painful losses of the “real me.” She also shares 14 deeply personal stories—her own included—and shows how women are overcoming crises of personal and professional identity. Additionally, she introduces a hands-on integrated model for breaking through: effective mind-body-spirit solutions and concrete advice and tips.
Prior to forming Ellia Communications, Kathy built a successful 18-year corporate career in the publishing and membership services industries, serving in directorship and VP roles in marketing, product management, and research. She received her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University, her BA from Boston University, and other educational certifications and training from NYU, the University of London, and the Institute for Life Coaching Training.
