Artist and painter concentrating on New England and Vermont subjects. Work in oil, watercolor and charcoal in my home studio in north central Vermont. I have had roughly 30 solo shows and been involved in 60 group shows. My work has been represented in New York since 1996. I have been showing at David Findlay Galleries there since 2003. I also show in several Vermont galleries.
Along with general landscape subjects, I'm interested in architectural subjects, especially historic or vernacular architecture. In addition I am developing two other bodies of work. One is about icebergs in the North Atlantic to draw attention to climate change. The other is about the forest and human involvement with the woods to provoke thought about resource stewardship.
My work is detailed and realistic with a high level of finish. I am also accomplished at architectural rendering. I have been running all facets of my own business for nearly 30 years.

I am currently working on a large hybrid public art/private commission called Art of Action. I am one of ten artists charged with making paintings about the future of Vermont. My project is focused on our forests and the human intersection with the woods.

I'm interested in private commission work of various types, gallery show and other projects. I specialize in the New England landscape, especially Vermont, and vernacular architecture. I am also creating work about icebergs to highlight climate change. The logging industry in Vermont has also inspired an body of work, which I've been developing since 1995. Personally I enjoy cooking, gardening, hiking, kayaking, sailing and cross country skiing. I am also interested in disability rights and issues.
