I founded the Virtual Assistant industry in Australia. I wanted to work at home and be there for my 5 daughters but that changed when the Internet entered the business scene. Before I knew it I became mentor and motivator for women around the world who wanted to work at home. Today I manage a group of 230+ VAs in 16 countries (now in Brazil) and moderate two VA forums with 1,300+ virtual assistants.
What is a Virtual Assistant (VA)?
A self-employed professional business services operator providing any type of admin support service you require on a remote basis from their own office, using their own equipment and software. That means - we're as close to you as your computer! It also means that people outsource their work to us.
What do I do?
I help connect clients with VAs, and VAs with clients. I write about the industry through articles and blogs and run an online coaching program for Virtual Assistants. I speak at conferences and seminars locally in Australia and internationally by webinars to encourage women worldwide that they too can return home to work and be there for their family. One of my favourite topics is the Proverbs 31 Woman - a Work at Home Mum.
