As the GSO Downstream On-Demand Project Manager, I am responsible for assisting our customers with the design and deployment of their Ariba solutions. As a functional expert, I help lead the customer in the build, testing and deployment of their software solution and associated business processes while providing project planning and management services. Some of my duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Practice Development/Customer Focus - Deployment responsibilities include assisting customers throughout the various phases of Ariba’s solution deployment; Assist with all aspects of a deployment including (but not limited to): process configuration, user interface configuration, user and supplier set-up and project management; Act as a liaison between the customer and various groups within Ariba such as Technical Support, Sales, Engineering, and Product Management.
People Development - Develop and maintain team operating principles and team templates and work instructions; Develop team trainings; Act as a mentor to new team members; Manage internal and external resources to optimize client impact; Collaborate with manager and teammates to anticipate and respond to issues that could impact solution deployment (e.g., change in scope).
