Kate is a voice and musical theater instructor and the business manager at the Bedford Youth Performing Company. She is the choral director at The Easter Seals Jolicoeur School and the Bedford Youth Performing Company.
She has a passion for organizational leadership and coalition building and is a co-founder of The Greater Manchester Alliance for the Gifted, NH Parents for Educational Freedom, The Academy for Science and Design Educational Foundation, The Scholars' Academy, and the Ladies of Liberty Alliance.
Kate is a skilled grant writer and project manager and was awarded a grant from the NHDOE to design an arts-integrated charter school. She has participated on education related advisory committees in the city of Manchester, such as The Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee to the Manchester School District, Mayor Frank Guinta’s Education Committee, and was a member of the Implementation Team to establish specialty academy programs at Manchester High School West.
Kate received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business at UNH, her continuous independent study and experiences as a student, teacher, and as a parent of three gifted daughters, has instilled in her an intense passion for education and empowering women which she translates into action each day.

The Bedford Youth Performing Company was founded in 1996 to provide quality performing arts instruction and experience for youths in Bedford and surrounding communities. Since then, the school has flourished, and we are now a major New Hampshire performing arts education center with a comprehensive set of programs for students of all ages and abilities. Nearly 1000 students are enrolled in our programs this year; many travel an hour or more to attend classes.
