Finding ways to take workplace learning to the point of need
Northampton, United Kingdom
Twenty years as a learning professional. Seventeen of them as a jill-of-all-trades trainer and consultant covering the full spectrum of the learning cycle. More recently making the shift into blended learning solutions design, and then into L&D consultancy. Learning geek, passionately committed to learner empowerment. Deeply aware that learning is about change, and that many are resistant to change. Adept at finding ways to bring people on board.

Having been an ardent informal, self-starting learner for the best part of two decades, I decided the time had come to formalise the learning. Partly to reassure myself that I had covered appropriate material at an appropriate level, partly to enjoy the exchange of views with classmates, partly to fill in any gaps I might have left and (last but not least), partly from a rather mercenary desire to add a piece of paper to my collection that would improve my career prospects.
I am thoroughly enjoying the experience - particularly the thinking skills module.
