Karl brings with him over 14 years of experience in the advertising industry with extensive knowledge of interactive and emerging media. A true pioneer in the digital medium, he is not just insightful but shows the right mix of maturity and ambition. Today, while he specializes in new and emerging Media, he is excited about buzz marketing and integrated marketing solutions.
At 30, Karl has already worked on a lot of exciting brands in the digital space and not just delivered intelligent strategic thinking but excellent creative work that has won numerous international awards such as Cannes, Webbys, One Show, New York Festivals, Asia Pacific Adfest and national awards like the Abby and AAAI.
Some of his recent acheivements are :
• 1st Indian Cyber Shortlist at Cannes 2006 for an online campaign on Timesjobs.com, which also helped make Timesjobs the number 1 Job portal in less than a year.
• 1st Indian Webby award for a simple and intutive multilingual portal enabling 170 million policy holders to pay premium and access insurance related information for Life Insurance Corporation of India.
• 2nd Indian Shortlist at Cannes 2007 and 2nd Indian Webby award for MTV India’s Online Campaign to get users to protect themselves on World Aids Day.
• 1st Bronze Cyber Lion at Cannes 2008 for an Online campaign “highlighting whats important” on various online portals for Luxor Highlighters.
Karl has had the privilege to be on the Cannes Cyber Lions jury and Asia Interactive Awards jury this year.
