Karen Patel’s Summary
My experience lies in football writing and page design. Onside magazine is the second football magazine project I have worked on, the first being a non-league football magazine called Midlands Non League Monthly (http://www.mnlm.co.uk).
For both of these magazines I have been completely in charge of content and layout, which is giving more experience of being a football magazine editor and I am enjoying it thoroughly. I am currently studying an MA in Media Enterprise at Birmingham City University, which I want to use to aid in the starting up of a magazine publishing company, which has already begun with Onside magazine.
