Karen Lemmer’s Summary
I left Michigan for a life & job in California in April of 2008. I was four classes shy of a Masters degree in Educational Technology from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI. I am an interactive & multimedia designer - highly experienced in designing, editing, and programming interactive web-courses in Flash. I am also an educator - I started teaching Graphic Design at a community college in SE Michigan when I was 23 years old. I taught at a community development program twice a week, developing two classes "GRA-fix" and "TYPE-o."
I am passionate about getting involved at Saddleback church and in my community - I am Theresa's Big Sister, through the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization in Orange County, CA. I also enjoy taking risks and trying everything twice, just to make sure I didn't like it the first time; most recently, I learned how to ride a motorcycle!
Karen Lemmer’s Specialties:
Teaching Graphic Design and Photoshop to students from middle school to the college level; developing (in Flash, not just designing in Photoshop) interactive e-courses, modules, banners, splash pages, and websites; using clean and organized web/animation coding (actionscript 2.0 & some 3.0, html, css, and some java).
