Karen Kleinwort’s Summary

Karen Kleinwort is a holistic life coach and owner of Therapy in Transition, an organization dedicated to supporting its clients to more effectively embrace change by integrating three modalities during each client’s coaching session to ensure the mind, body and spirit are aligned during times of change. Karen and her organization are leading the coaching industry in a new direction -- one which embraces a holistic approach and meets clients exactly where they are. Karen believes it takes more than mental intention/focus to bring about change in a client’s life; she believes a client’s body must also be able to embrace change.

Karen’s unique approach to meeting clients exactly where they are includes the use of traditional life coaching techniques as well as CranioSacral body work (a light touch technique allowing the physical body to be able to handle the stress of the change more effectively) and Reiki energy work (another light touch technique bringing the energy of the physical body or the spirit of the client into balance, supporting the body’s ability to handle both the physical and mental stresses during times of change easier allowing the client to be more resourceful while seeking solutions to their challenges).

As a personal trainer working with individuals seeking change since 1988, Karen has been passionate about supporting clients to meet their goals and aspirations. Her corporate business experience allows her to understand the pressures of balancing both the financial and human resource scales from both the employee and management perspectives.
