I am passionate about building great teams and great software. I believe that agile development is the way to succeed on both fronts.

I have over 10 years of experience in software development, with substantial experience with agile methodologies. I worked in an Extreme Programming (XP) environment for 2.5 years. I am now nearly 1 year in to a roll out of Scrum to an RnD team of 85 people.

My strengths lie in implementing pragmatic solutions and quality checkpoints to ensure high quality, predictable and repeatable delivery. I have experience in all aspects of software development, having worked as a tester, developer, product owner, scrum master, project manager, program manager and implementation manager.

I have worked in both bespoke and product development, as well as hosted services. I have delivered software to large global blue chip clients both locally and with an off-shore delivery model.

I believe that happy, motivated staff are the most crucial asset in a technology company, and strive to develop innovative ways to attract, motivate and retain smart, productive and creative staff.
