I head Karen Friedman Enterprises, Inc. in the Philadelphia region. We teach business professionals how to communicate more effectively in business so they can reach objectives and get results. In the past 13 years, we've helped thousands of people make the most of every appearance, media interview, presentation and meeting so they can advance their agenda and enhance their reputations. I started the firm in 1996 after a successful career as a reporter and anchor in TV News, last stop ABC TV Philadelphia. It was at that time that a U.S. delegation led by former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton tapped me to provide media and political training for women in South and Central America. We continue to counsel key opinion leaders across the globe and have rolled out training programs in numerous countries including China, England, Singapore, Malaysia, Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia, Trinidad, Canada and Puerto Rico. I'm also a co-author of Speaking with Success with best-selling authors Stephen R. Covey (Seven Habits of Highly Effective People), Ken Blanchard (One Minute Manager) and Jack Canfield (co –creator of Chicken Soup for the Soul) and am working on another book due out this year. I taught journalism at the University of Wisconsin and once ran for a hotly contested seat in the PA House of Representatives. I'm a professional speaker and a member of the National Speakers Association.
