Founded by Kevin Ryan and Dwight Merriman—the former CEO and co-founder/CTO of DoubleClick, respectively—AlleyCorp launched six NYC-based start-ups, including Gilt.com (November 2007), BusinessInsider.com (July 2007) and 10gen (July 2008).
Led strategy and corporate development across the AlleyCorp-founded companies. Raised capital from top tier investors, including Matrix Partners, Greylock Partners, Union Square Ventures and Index Ventures.

MaxPreps was acquired by CBS Interactive in 2007.
