Providing thought leadership and innovation to enable transformational change is core to our team activity coupled with the architectural application of advanced and emerging solutions. My role involves a number of customer, internal change and development activities.
Working with customers my roles is focused on architecture, enablement, execution and assurance of change to the enterprise. Typical challenges in the preparation and planning of significant change includes; developing sourcing strategies, architecture planning, understanding business requirements and governance in developing ecosystems.

I was part of the bank CTO specialising in Networks. The role supported the Programme Sponsor and CIO in a trusted advisor capacity working closely with Finance, Legal and Service functions in collaboration with the outsourced services provider (IBM). My role involved assuring the delivery of the best technical architecture for the enterprise Network transformation; voice & data capable architecture, including the deployment of 70,000 IP Phones.

Responsible for all ICT provision to PCT led health services, two Strategic Health Authorities and Information management for Service Level Management of Acute Services. The role involved a level of consolidation and re-structuring of functions, and operational infrastructure development. Also, involved in the development of NPfIT (now Connecting for Health) working with the Strategic Health Authorities and working closely with Capital Care Alliance (CCA).

1. Managing Desktop, LAN, WAN, ISP Services for outsourced customers

4. Delivering and consolidating operations into a new Service Management Centre/Network Operations Centre (including interim management of organisation and operations)

Joined in a senior support role uniquely placed working across all divisions; PC's, Mac's, LAN (Novell and MS etc) and quickly promoted to run support operations. Support operations included Pre-sales internal/external and post sales support to customers and customer services department to ensure quality. Business grew whilst I was there from $500M to $2.2B through organic expansion and acquisitions of Technomatic and Inmac. Major challenges included growing the team, maintaining quality and consolidating acquired teams to work as one whilst working with some challenging customers.
