In late 2005, Mr. Kirkland joined Blackhawk Equity Group, an international private equity trading group, to come to Asia to assist in building its new operations in China.
Overseeing the day to day operations, Mr. Kirkland led an aggressive management team to open over 10 offices in the top major cities in China, with over 210 employees, building profits from zero to over $2M within 2 years.
Working closely with the Board to achieve its goals in China, Mr. Kirkland established a plan with policies and protocols specifically developed and adapted to the Chinese market.
To manage and facilitate rapid growth, Mr. Kirkland developed the "Fast Start" Training Program for Chinese traders to become familiar with Blackhawk policies, trading software, and compliance with NASD rules and regulations. Under Mr. Kirkland's initiative, Blackhawk expanded its service and operations through strategic partnerships with FOREX institutions and commodities trading firms in both the USA and Asia.
