I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved to Bolivar, Missouri in 1985. I graduated from Bolivar High School in 1990 and attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in English with minors in Business Admininistration, History and Political Science.
I attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law from 1994-1997 and was granted a Juris Doctorate. I joined the Missouri Bar in 1997. Therafter, I served Circuit Judge William F. Mauer of Jackson County, Missouri as judicial law clerk.
I joined the Lowther Johnson Law Firm in Springfield, Missouri in 1998 and practiced in general civil matters. In 2000, I joined the Assemblies of God Financial Services Group as their Testamentary Attorney, creating a program that produces several thousand wills every year.
In 2002, I launched the website MissouriTrafficTickets.com with Will Worsham, and I continue as a managing member in the overarching USTrafficTickets.com company. The site allows clients to submit traffic tickets online to have them kept off the record.
Thereafter, in 2004, I joined Will Worsham's law practice to form the firm of Worsham & Vaughan, practicing estate planning, business formations & transactions, probate, traffic and real estate in that partnership.
In early 2007, the Assemblies of God Financial Services Group (now known as Assemblies of God Financial Solutions) invited me back fulltime with them as Planned Giving Attorney. I now serve at AG Financial fulltime, providing my legal skills in the areas of planned giving, estate planning, probate and trust management. I remain in an of-counsel role with Will Worsham's firm.
I also have a limited private practice for a select number of clients under Vaughan Law, LLC. That practice is mostly comprised of estate planning, wills, trusts, business formation, contracts and a small amount of municipal law as I serve as counsel for the Village of Diggins, Missouri.
