• Advertising people do advertising. Marketing and PR people do, well, marketing and PR. I focus on the content behind those efforts. I work with companies and agencies to determine the best messaging possible, whether it's starting an executive blog, building a website, contributing to a social network, managing a podcast, or writing a killer white paper.
As a former technology reporter, I have extensive experience covering the issues businesspeople face and the ability to translate complicated tech speak and corporate lingo into language that resonates with consumers and business leaders alike.
As a corporate writer and account executive, I enjoy strategy -- whether it's messaging, branding or advertising. I particularly like providing services such as podcasts and blog strategy to executives looking to bring their communications to the next level.
Some of the clients I've worked for include Panasonic, e-tail security company ControlScan, software maker Tenrox, energy information provider Platts, and Nokia.
• I'm also a co-founder and editor of TechPedia Atlanta, a wiki-style site that will let anyone create or edit encyclopedic entries about the Atlanta technology scene. If you want to hear more about this project, drop me a line...

TCF is a marketing and copywriting firm focused solely on content creation. In short, we help clients find their voice. And we translate that voice into powerful messaging.
The team here produces anything that helps companies sell -- advertising, blogs, podcasts, articles, op-eds, in-depth presentations, white papers, case studies, websites and more. We not only have deep experience in writing but also impressive marketing sense and business savvy. Clients, I think, appreciate that when they need more than simple press releases -- and require deeper-dive expertise such as developing Web strategies or crafting bullseye Level 2 messages.
There aren't too many companies like The Content Factor. We've taken what has typically been a freelance operation -- a lifestyle -- and made it into a successful professional services business.
Some of the clients we've worked for include Equifax, Cox Communications, Connect With Kids, Oracle, Macquarium, Manhattan Associates and Canon.
