Justin Obey is as involved in Boston's professional and social scenes as anyone in the city. A true leader by example, Justin is the co-founder and president of Social Boston Sports, an event services organization that provides co-ed recreational sports leagues, weekend adventure trips and social events to young professionals without a membership fee. Justin realized his love for marketing and event planning as a student-leader while earning a Bachelors degree in Economics and Finance at Bentley University. Through leadership roles as a Resident Assistant, Red Bull Mobile Energy Team Representative, and class social chair, Justin gained valuable experience that prepared him to successfully launch Social Boston Sports in February 2007. In addition to being an entrepreneur and eternal student, Justin is always on the go; staying active in the leagues and events offered by Social Boston Sports in addition to his hobbies of skiing, mountain biking, and running.

As a MET I worked on an energetic and creative time in order to market Red Bull to a highly active Boston market in need of energy. As part of the position it was our job to come up with creative ways to reach the consumer; both new and prior Red Bull drinkers. Through our efforts we were able to get Red Bull in the hands of thousands of Bostonians from ages 13 - 65.
