I serve missionaries by helping them build 6 things: Drive, Energy, Effort, Inspiration, Power, Strength. To do this I: (1) read a lot (to cross-pollinate ideas and technologies from other fields); (2) meet a lot of people; (3) introduce people to people; (4) introduce people to information; (5) teach people how to apply information and research; (6) work with people to make new discoveries; (7) build new tools to multiply the impact of people.
My question for anyone reading this profile:
if there's something - a piece of information, a specific kind of contact, or a particular tool that could be developed - which would increase your effectiveness or remove a significant barrier: what would it be? (not "solve world selfishness" please.) I am looking for ways to specifically help increase mission effectiveness and can spend *some* time on specific things.
Beyond serving in this way, we are also working on large "capital" projects over the next 40 years which help bring the efficiency and effectiveness of missions to a new order of magnitude.
My current wish: a Latitude XT tablet pc.
